An absolutely gem! - abhidabhi

Nestled in a lush green valley, with views of deodar forests, and the sounds of a nearby stream, this is the perfect getaway from the maddening crowds of the more popular destinations in Himachal

The cottages are clearly a labour of love and ample space, with a queen sized bed downstairs, two double beds in the loft upstairs, a nice balcony/sit-out area next to loft area, and all of them decorated tastefully with a local feel to the place. You don't expect much amenities when you go to a slightly off the beaten path place like Jibhi, but these cottage were a welcome exception with running hot water, clean sheets and towels, and a lovely clean bathroom.

The food too is excellent with plenty of choices, from paranthas and poha to eggs and toast for breakfast. Lunch and dinner varied from pasta and mutton curry to simple dal chawal and rajma. For one of the dinners, there were even momos and a yummy local dish called sidu.

Ritesh, Gitika, and their cute little daughter are wonderful hosts and treat you like friends or family visiting their home. The staff - Piyari, Radha, and Rekha - are extremely warm, attentive, and affectionate. They also have three dogs and two hens, or varying sizes and personalities, who are a constant source of entertainment; one of them might even accompany you on your treks and help you find the way back home :) The place also tends to attract

As far as activities go, you have a choice of doing treks in and around the area or just lazing around and enjoying the stream that is very accessible from the property. There is a short trek to a waterfall nearby. A longer trek will take you to Chaini temple and a ridge on top of the hill gives you a panoramic view of the valleys below and the snow capped mountains in the distance. There are also treks from Jalori Pass which is not far but is still a about an hour's drive. Take plenty of water with you, some of the treks can be quite the climb :)

Absolutely loved the place and will recommend it to anyone looking for an experience in the lap of nature, away from the hustle and bustle. Will certainly be back.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE!! NEAT N CLEAN ROOMS & VERY HELPFULL HOSTS - Harsh V

Place is worth a visit. Me with my wife and Son stayed at JIBHI COTTAGE which is very well maintained property with all the basic amenities one could ask for in a less explored serene place called JIBHI. After a days hike through meadows of Jalori top and Serolsar Lake we crashed in to this beautiful cottage. We did not expect such neat and clean Room with a wonderful view from our balcony immersed in fragrance from nearby orchards. Hosts were very helpful and humble. We truely enjoyed our stay at JIBHI COTTAGE.
